Sterappel (Star Apple) was sold to a foreign buyers, after he was trained by Daan Geel and Jenny Zoer in the Netherlands. After a succesful drive of Trevor Coyle during the world championships for young horses in Lanaken (2005, round of 16 for six-year-olds, the bay now plays in the international young horses categories by Geir Gulliksen.
Sold in 2007 to Georgina Bloomberg (USA), daughter of the mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg (2002-2013), which he achieved many successes with. Gianni Govoni (ITA) drove him in 1.60m jumping.
The gelding now is ridden by Maria Ludovica Longobardi (ITA).
